About the host
Host Nico grew up in Xalapa, Veracruz, and got his first job in a restaurant kitchen at the young age of 14, already set on a career as a cook. He went on to earn a degree in gastronomy from the Universidad del Claustro de Sor Juana in Mexico City, then worked in a variety of restaurant kitchens, learning the secrets of Italian, Asian, French, and, of course, Mexican cuisine. Nico also enjoys sharing his passion for food as a tour guide for Eat Mexico.

- Online class will be hosted via Instagram Live video, so you will be required to provide your Instagram account and email address when booking. Your IG account details will be shared with the host and you need to send them a follower request as soon as possible. The host will accept your follower request 15 minutes before your class time. Please ensure you check your IG account for the accepted follower request shortly before the class is due to start.

Salsa de chile morita:
- ½ cup morita chilies (they can be pretty spicy, so you can adjust the quantity)
- ½kg tomatillos (1.1lb or 8-10 pieces)
- 4-6 garlic cloves
- 1 tablespoon salt
- 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
Salsa verde cruda:
- ½kg (1.1lb) tomatillos
- ½ cup serrano chiles (for a milder version, reduce the amount or use jalapeños instead)
- 1 tablespoon salt
- ¼ white onion
- ½ cup cilantro
Equipment:
- Blender
- Cutting board
- Pan
- Boiling pan
- A container for storing the salsa

These are the terms and conditions on which we, EAT MEXICO CULINARY TOURS supply the experience(s) to you. Please read these terms carefully before you purchase the experience.
- OUR SERVICES
1.1 Please carefully review the description of the experience before you book to ensure you meet any requirements. If you do not meet any specified requirements, such as minimum age, we shall be entitled to refuse your access to the experience.
1.2 The price for the experience is included in the booking process and is inclusive of VAT. Any other costs incurred by you in attending the experience shall be solely borne by you.
1.3 These terms apply from the time you make your booking until (and including) the date you attend the experience.
1.4 Purchase of a ticket means you consent to filming, photography and sound recording which may include you as a participant, unless expressly stated otherwise.
1.5 Our experiences will start 5 minutes after the agreed time. Therefore, if the experience is said to start at 3pm EST, we will start at 3:05pm EST. Please make sure that you have sent a follower request to @eatmexicoexperiences before the experience, and check your IG account 15 minutes before the start of the experience so your follower request is allowed. Our experience will be as a LIVE video.
- YOUR RIGHT TO CANCEL
2.1 If you cancel more than 48 hours before the experience, you will get a 100% refund. If you cancel within 48 hours before the experience, you will get a 50% refund. However, if you cancel within 24 hours before the experience, the experience cost is non-refundable.
- OUR RIGHT TO CANCEL
3.1 We may immediately cancel your right to attend and/or remove you from the experience at any time: (a) if you breach any of these terms (although for non-serious breaches we will first give you the opportunity to put things right); (b) if you breach any applicable laws, rules and regulations; and/or (c) you misuse or abuse the services provided at the experience, including by behaving in an offensive or disorderly manner.
- OUR RESPONSIBILITY FOR LOSS OR DAMAGE SUFFERED BY YOU
4.1 To the extent permitted by applicable laws, the experience is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. Our liability is limited to the maximum extent permitted by law but nothing in these terms is intended to exclude or limit any warranty or liability which may not be lawfully excluded or limited in your country of residence (if any).
4.2 We accept no responsibility for any of your personal property brought to the experience.
- OTHER IMPORTANT TERMS
5.1 This contract is between you and us and no other person shall have any rights to enforce any of its terms.
5.2 Each of the paragraphs of these terms operates separately. If any court or relevant authority decides that any of them are unlawful or unenforceable, the remaining clauses will remain in full force and effect.
5.3 These terms are governed by English law but you will benefit from any mandatory provisions of the law of the country in which you are resident.
5.4 You can bring legal proceedings in respect of these terms in the English courts. However, as a consumer you can bring legal proceedings in respect of these terms in a court with jurisdiction according to the laws of your country of residence.
